Eligibility Criteria of Punjab & Sind Bank Job Vacancy
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan. 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age:
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- A Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.02.1995 and not later than 01.02.2005
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) (OBC): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
Educational Qualification:
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Work Experience:
18 months or more in Officer cadre in any Public Sector Bank/ Regional Rural Bank.
Other Criteria:
- Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying to.
- Candidates must have a healthy credit history with a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining.
Note:
- The cut-off date for age and educational qualification is 01.02.2025.
- The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirements of the Bank.
- The candidates can apply for a vacancy in one state only.
- Present employees of Punjab and Sind Bank shall not be eligible for this post.
