Eligibility Criteria of Supreme Court of India Recruitment
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India or an equivalent qualification from a foreign university.
- The degree should be in any discipline, such as arts, science, commerce, engineering, etc.
- Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree may also apply. However, their candidature will be provisional until they submit proof of passing the degree by the specified date.
- Typing Skills:
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on a computer.
- The typing test will be conducted on a computer, and candidates will be assessed on their speed and accuracy.
- Candidates with a higher typing speed and accuracy will be given preference.
- Computer Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of computer operation, including word processing, spreadsheets, and the internet.
- Candidates will be assessed on their computer knowledge through a written test or an interview.
- Candidates with a higher level of computer knowledge will be given preference.
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of March 8, 2025.
- Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and dependents of Freedom Fighters, as per the Government of India rules.
- There is no upper age limit for departmental candidates of the Registry of the Supreme Court of India.
